The  new Chanson 505 PLUS water ionizer is one of the most affordable water ionizers available.

Why?  It has 5 plates instead of the standard 7. 
How does that affect usage?  It's recommended that you use a maximum of 2 liters per minute flow rate because the water ionization chamber is smaller.  In comparison, the Miracle MAX water ionizer can use a 3 liter per minute flow rate.  (By running at the slower flow rate the 505 has more time to "thoroughly ionize" the water).

There are no chemicals required and the internal filter is very effective for getting rid of the chlorine! Your water can be customized using the smart menu system.

Self Cleaning - Unlike other water Ionizers you don't have to mess around with chemicals and hand cleaning the machine. About every 10 uses it will self-clean for one minute 'automagically'. (you'll be alerted and the instrument color changes from indigo to yellow). The number one enemy of any ionizer is calcium build-up inside the plate cell, because once the plate cell gets coated in calcium minerals the unit stops working. Many other water ionizers will lose up to 30% of their performance within the first three months of use due to calcium buildup.
